Welcome to Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene Clinic
We are pleased to welcome you as a prospective patient to our dental hygiene clinic. This website aims to provide you with all of the information you’ll need to become a patient.
As a teaching institution, our mission is to produce clinically competent, ethical, and knowledgeable dental hygienists. It is our privilege to provide quality dental hygiene treatment to the community when appropriate.
Our philosophy is to provide you with professional dental hygiene services that will assist you in keeping your teeth and gums healthy. We appreciate your trust in us, and thank you for giving the students the opportunity to learn the skills mandatory to become competent dental hygienists.
The purpose of the Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene Clinic is to "produce clinically competent, ethical and knowledgeable Dental Hygienists." To that end, the student hygienists at the Dental Hygiene Clinic are equipped to provide their community with quality dental hygiene and dental radiology services at affordable prices. These services are provided in our state of the art dental hygiene educational institution located on the beautiful Cabrillo College Main Campus.
Dental hygiene care is provided by a student dental hygienist and supervised by registered dental hygienists and licensed dentists. The services offered at Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene Clinic are part of a sound dental care program, but are not a substitute for regular visits to your dentist. Cabrillo is a teaching institution; therefore, these appointments require a commitment of time and the full treatment will require multiple appointments. Each appointment is booked for 2.5 – 3 hours.
Each patient visiting the Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene Clinic must also have a current, diagnostic set of full mouth x-rays taken within the last five (5) years and bite-wings taken within the last two (2) years. They can be taken in our clinic or a copy may be requested from your regular dentist.
To make the best use of time, please email your forms to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to your appointment.
