How it works
Qualifying students can take online courses from participating California Community Colleges outside of their home college. Through CVC Exchange, you can register for eligible classes quickly and easily.
Cabrillo is a Home and Teaching College
Home college is where a student is currently enrolled at the time of registration via the CVC.
Teaching college is where a student is taking additional courses (max of two courses) needed to complete their educational goal.
Access your Cabrillo course through your home college’s Canvas Account
For more information on attending Cabrillo College as a CVC Student, visit the California Virtual Campus page.
If you receive federal aid at your home college, contact your home college’s financial aid office.
For options to pay your fees, please visit the CVC Exchange and select "Payment Options".
Everything Needed for Success
Some classes displayed on www.cvc.edu have a prerequisite requirement. If you select one of these classes, you will be prompted to upload a copy of your transcript as proof you meet the requirements. The college teaching the course will then review your request. Please note, it can take up to three working days for your request to be reviewed and your spot in the course is not reserved during that time.
