Two weeks. Two credits. No experience needed!
Cabrillo College is excited to announce a new summer opportunity for students interested in technology, cybersecurity, and career exploration. The new summer offerings include Introductory and Intermediate cybersecurity courses. No prior cybersecurity experience needed! The courses are designed to be taken consecutively, allowing students to build foundational cybersecurity knowledge and continue into more advanced topics and hands-on activities.
CIS 133A: Introductory Cybersecurity and Competitions
July 6–10 9:00am–3:00pm
Available in-person at Cabrillo’s Aptos campus or virtually via Zoom
CIS 133B: Intermediate Cybersecurity and Competitions
July 13–17 9:00am–3:00pm
Available in-person at Cabrillo’s Aptos campus or virtually via Zoom
Cybersecurity skills are increasingly important across all industries, including healthcare, business, engineering, education, government, and technology. These courses are intended not only for students interested in cybersecurity careers, but for any student who wants to better understand digital safety, technology systems, and the growing role of cybersecurity in everyday life.

High School and Adult Education students can attend these classes for free and earn up to 2 college credits!
