Hello! My name is Adrienne Saxton. I have been teaching health science classes at Cabrillo since 2005. I received my MPH from SJSU and am also a certified health education specialist (CHES). I am a credentialed science teacher as well and taught in the science department at Watsonville High School for 5 years. While there I started the Health Career Academy. Prior to that, I served in the Peace Corps in Honduras, Central America as an Environmental Awareness Promoter. My B.A. is in Biology/Environmental Studies from UCSC. Currently, I am the lead Community Health Worker Certificate faculty at Cabrillo. I am also a lecturer and the field practice program coordinator at CSUMB in the Collaborative Health and Human Services major.
