Bonjour à tout le monde! I am a French instructor with a passion for language, culture, and lifelong learning. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive classroom where students can develop confidence in French while discovering the many cultures and communities of the Francophone world.
I believe learning a language is about much more than vocabulary and grammar. Culture is a central focus of my teaching, and French provides students with the opportunity to explore history, art, literature, music, food, traditions, and contemporary perspectives from around the world. I incorporate cultural connections throughout my courses so that students can see French as a living language connected to diverse communities and experiences. I believe students learn best when they have meaningful opportunities to use and apply the language they are learning.
My courses include assignments and activities that ask students to apply new vocabulary and grammatical structures in practical, communicative contexts. Through these activities, students develop their ability to communicate in French while building cultural awareness and a deeper understanding of the Francophone world.
