I am thrilled to be teaching in the Criminal Justice department at Cabrillo! By way of background, I'm a former prosecutor and criminal defense lawyer from New York City. I worked for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office in both the trial and appellate divisions, then opened my own civil and criminal practice. Prior to this, I served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Robert E. Coyle of the US District Court for the Eastern District of California. My prior teaching experience includes Legal Analysis, Writing and Research at the National University of Singapore's Faculty of Law. Until recently, I was a staff attorney and pro bono director for Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
