Dr. Bradley Olin joined Cabrillo College as Vice President for Administrative Services / Assistant Superintendent on July 1, 2019. Prior to his arrival, he was a member of the San José State University Provost’s leadership team as Associate Vice President for Academic Budgets and Planning, where he oversaw the university’s institutional research and $230M academic budget office. Previously, Dr. Olin served SJSU as the Director of Budget Planning and Risk Management. Prior to his career in education, Dr. Olin worked for the City of Watsonville as a city planner and analyst. He is also a proud member of Leadership Santa Cruz Class 25.
He holds a bachelor’s in Latin American studies and Spanish from Cornell College, a master’s in public administration from the University of Southern California, and an Ed.D. from CSU, Long Beach. His research interests focus on mentoring, succession planning, and leadership development. Bradley finds profound joy from being a father to two wonderful daughters. When he's not working, he enjoys spending quality time outside mountain biking, running, and camping; and discovering new fun things to do in and around Santa Cruz.
