Dr. Enrique M. Buelna is a history instructor and has been with Cabrillo College since 2005. He teaches courses in modern United States and Chicano history as well as history of Mexico. His focus is on labor, civil rights, immigration, race, and identity. Enrique earned his PhD from the University of California, Irvine and recently published his book titled Chicano Communists and the Struggle for Social Justice (2019) by the University of Arizona Press.
