I was born in Wichita, Kansas, which is a fantastic place to be from. I've lived most of my life in California, in the Los Angeles area and the Santa Cruz/Watsonville area. I attended college at UC Santa Cruz and California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles, where I majored in English and American Literature and Critical Studies respectively.

My favorite genres are Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Horror. I've watched a lot of movies and read a lot of books.

I have two children, two dogs, a cat, and several fish. My two favorite hobbies are wood sculpting and music. I own several exotic instruments, some of which I'm able to play in a way that probably won't hurt your ears too much.
