Prior to having the privilege of joining the Business Faculty at Cabrillo College, I accumulated over 30 years of leadership experience in the food service industry. My entrepreneurial journey began in Peru, where I founded and successfully expanded a chain of bakery businesses. Upon relocating to California, I launched and operated a thriving restaurant, further deepening my expertise in business operations. Additionally, I served as a business manager for a well-established American food chain, where I oversaw key operational functions.
My professional experience also includes international collaboration. I was honored to contribute to Indiana University’s Global Business Pilot Program in Athens, Greece, where I worked as part of a consulting team supporting local small businesses.
Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my strong interpersonal communication, strategic problem-solving, and leadership in managing cross-functional operations—including production, procurement, marketing, and logistics. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which has allowed me to work effectively in diverse, multicultural environments.
On a personal note, I am a proud mother of three daughters—Stephanie, Brianna, and Tiffany. I enjoy traveling, learning new languages, and dancing.
Looking Forward to have you in my class!!
