Fall 2026, I am teaching:

Improvisation, TA 13A/B— both levels of Cabrillo's improv classes combined in one fun, interactive class. Culminates in a public performance- the Improv Follies- December 2, 2026, 7pm in the Black Box Theater.

Online Appreciation of Theatre Arts, TA 9— this is an asynchronous online class with no set meeting times. Do the available classwork at your pace and schedule, and submit all assignments by the due dates and submission deadlines.

TA 29/529-- Rehearsal and Performance. This class is by audition and students who are cast become the actors in the theatre production. The show this fall is on the Crocker Stage. MACHINAL by Sophie Treadwell, directed by me.

First performed on Broadway in 1928 and inspired by a sensational murder trial, MACHINAL is a rare treasure of American Expressionism by a female playwright that tells the electrifying story of a Young Woman who, trapped by stifling expectations in a hard, mechanized society, performs an act of desperation to free herself, only to pay the ultimate price.
