Rosie grew up in the Salinas Valley, but as a toddler was rooted in Watsonville. She has worked across workforce development systems including the Community College system in community and contract education and workforce development, private vocational education, human resources, labor, non-profits and even her local K12 regional occupational program. She is passionate about connecting students to their purpose through engagement, mentorship and resources, while increasing their ability for economic mobility and prosperity for their families. She believes Cabrillo College is an integral piece across educational, community and workforce systems.
