Sabine Arbelbide is a former Cabrillo College student who understands firsthand the challenges of navigating the college system. Early in her academic journey, she recognized the importance of building a strong support network that includes instructors, counselors, faculty, student clubs, and support services.
After earning her associate degree in Sociology from Cabrillo College, she transferred to San José State University, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and later a master’s degree in Counselor Education.
Before stepping into her current role, she gained experience through a variety of positions at Cabrillo College, including Interim Articulation Officer, Articulation and Honors Transfer Program Student Support Specialist, and as a student worker in the Financial Aid Office.
Since 2019, she has served as an academic counselor and instructor at Cabrillo College, where she is passionate about supporting students as they pursue their academic and career goals.
She is committed to helping students navigate their academic pathways and encourages them to meet with her or any member of Cabrillo College’s knowledgeable and supportive counseling team.
