I am the MESA Academic Counselor at Cabrillo College, since 2024. I bring over 13 years of community college counseling experience and support MESA students in STEM, guiding them through transfer planning and helping them achieve their academic goals with a holistic, equity-focused approach.

I’m a first-generation college graduate from Fresno State, born in Jalisco, Mexico, and raised in a rural farmworker town in Fresno County. Having navigated college myself, I understand firsthand the challenges MESA students face and am passionate about helping them feel confident, supported, and empowered. I was the first in my family to earn a master’s degree and helped pave the way for my siblings to do the same.

Outside of work, I love hiking, backpacking, and exploring national parks—Yosemite is my favorite! I look forward to helping you on your journey at Cabrillo College.
