My academic passions are teaching and learning science - "to teach is to learn." I hope to empower students to gain skills needed to learn challenging material so they can reach their goals. Outside of school, my favorite pastime, which I share with my family, is surfing. I also enjoy reading, yoga, mountain biking and swimming.
