Hi to all :)

My name is Sonia Diego Martinez and I am from Guadalajara, Mexico. Like many people in this country, I came to the USA as an adult a long time ago. I have four "children" all are adults already. I love to dance and I like to do outside physical activities. I am in a karate class and I am learning a lot about myself with this martial art.

I am a preschool teacher and I work full time with MHS in Santa Cruz for 17 years. I work in MHS serving families working in agriculture and offering Technical Assistance to teachers at home. I have a second "mini-part-time" job supporting families with small children special needs and disabilities. In 2017, I graduated with a master's degree in Human Development and started working at Cabrillo as an associated instructor. I will appreciate your patience and feedback as a teacher because I am a relatively "new teacher".

I strongly believe in reflection and I think is a powerful tool to discover things about ourselves, children, and families that we may be working with.
