HOLA! I am a Spanish professor at Cabrillo. Before that, I was a Professor of Linguistics, TESOL, and Spanish at NGU, a small private 4-year college in South Carolina (2005-2021). I also taught linguistics, Spanish, and ESL at the University of Florida (1999-2005), where I got both my MA (2001) and my PhD (2005) in linguistics. I was born and raised in Venezuela and moved to the USA in 1998. My wife, Monica, was born in Colombia, and our only child, Victor Jr, was born in Florida. We love world-traveling! And I am also a music and sports fan!! I am so excited to join the Cabrillo family! I am so thankful to God for this opportunity, and I can only dream of the journey ahead!
