Guardian Scholars Program

The Cabrillo College Guardian Scholars Program is a space on campus for highly motivated students who want to earn a degree, certificate, or prepare to transfer and are currently or have been in foster care at any point in their life. We are here to help students achieve their education goals and connect them with resources.

All students New and Returning who haven't already attend a program Orientation will need to, for Spring 2018. During orientation Students can expect to sign a student agreement and learn what is required to remain a guardian scholar and how to earn a scholarship. Please call the office to sign up for one of the orientation times listed below. All orientations will be held in the Guardian Scholars Office in room 1006. If you are unable to make any of the below dates/ Please contact the office to see if we can accomodate an alternate day or time.


    • Thursday the 25th at 2:00 pm


    • Monday the 5th at 2:00pm
    • Thursday the 8th at 2:00pm
