General Types of Requests
Canvas
  • Access to a course for an incomplete

  • Copy/duplicate your course content to share with another instructor

  • Add a Faculty Peer Evaluator

  • Delete a sandbox/development shell

  • Request a sandbox

  • Add a Cabrillo employee or student employee to your course such as a Teacher Assistant, Supplemental Instruction Leader, or Designer. Depending on the role requested, you may be asked for Dean/supervisor approval of the request.

Vision Resource Canter (VRC)/Flex
  • Support questions about how to use or issues with the MySeahawkPD/Vision Resource Center (VRC)

Room Access
  • Request Code for Room 1094: TLC 24/7 27/7 Work Space is an anytime self-service space equipped with lesson planning materials

  • Request Code for Room 1095:TLC Innovation and Collaboration Space

  • Request code for Room 1096:TLC Conference Meeting Space and once you reserve space with us, reserve using Astra

TLC Access & Availability

The Transformative Learning Center (TLC) offers dedicated spaces for collaboration, innovation, and faculty development. Whether you need a quiet workspace, access to instructional technology, or consultation with our team, the TLC is designed to meet your professional needs with flexible hours and multiple points of access.

Location of TLC Spaces

The TLC is located in the Caves, directly beneath the HUB and library on the Aptos campus of Cabrillo College. Our primary space is in Room 1095, with adjacent meeting space in Room 1096, and a fully equipped 24/7-access faculty workspace in Room 1094.

Hours and Access Information

  • Room 1095 (Main TLC space) is open for drop-in use Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise posted.

  • Room 1094 (Faculty Workspace) is available 24/7. Faculty can request the door access code by contacting the TLC team.
