TRiO STEM at Cabrillo College is a federally funded through the U.S. Department of Education and is designed to support students who are the first in their families to attend college, come from low-income backgrounds, or have disabilities.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must meet at least one of the following:

• You are a first-generation student (your parent or guardian has not earned a bachelor’s degree)

• You meet federal low-income guidelines (no more than 150% above the poverty line)

• You have a documented physical, learning, or psychological disability
