2026-27 Senate Elections
- April 6-20,2026Election Application Opens
The Elections Committee has opened the 2026-27 elections process. The committee is charged with reviewing, processing and approving candidate nominations, campaigning process; ballots; candidate forums; and finalizing elections results.
Meetings are held in SAC E225 from 2-3pm: March 26th; April 9th; April 23rd.
Open elections process: April 6, 2026
Review and approve candidate submissions: Each Wednesday and Friday
Forums- Meet the candidate: April 21, 2026 and April 22, 2026
Review and finalize campaign materials: April 23, 2026
Review and approve elections ballots: April 23, 2026
Voting period April 27- May 1, 2026
Committee meet to review and finalize results May 7, 2026 at 2pm
Submit results to the Student Senate for approval: May 7, 2026

The committee will gather elections report for review and validation on or before May 7, 2026. The results will be presented to the Student Senate for approval and acceptance. The results of the Student Senate 2026-27 will be announced via social media, campus communications, Senate communications, and through the Board of Trustees. Incoming representatives are invited to participate in the 2026-27 End of Year event to recognize outgoing Senators and complete the swearing in ceremony on May 14, 2026.
