Earth Week
April 20-24

Unites we can solve this.
Earth Day History

The first Earth Day on April 22nd, 1970 mobilized 20 million American citizens, from all walks of life to demonstrate in favor of environmental reform. In the Cabrillo College and surrounding sustainability community, this celebration of environmental and social equity and awareness change agency work has grown into an entire week of events. Our hope is that we learn and grow from the week of events that can sustain us well beyond a week and into a sustained, regenerative livelihood. Now observed in over 192 countries, we invite you to take part to help build into the largest secular holiday in the world and participate in events across Santa Cruz County!
