Yes, BUT you are highly encouraged to use a personal email address because:

  • Many schools block emails from anything other than their district, so Cabrillo emails will end up in your SPAM box.

  • If you eventually go to Cabrillo as a college student, you'll have to update their email addresses because it is likely your high school address will be inactivated. You will have to reapply to Cabrillo if attending as a College student, so your email address should be edited at that time.

If you've ever applied to a community college in California, you already have a California Community College login and password. You still need to submit a Cabrillo Application to obtain a Cabrillo ID.

Average the 2 grades for each semester and enter that grade for the course. If your course is articulated to more than 1 Cabrillo course, still enter the average grade for each articulated course.

Yes! If the student met the minimum grade requirements and received recommendation by you, have the student fill out a petition for high school articulated credit-previously enrolled. Note- The student will need a Cabrillo ID to fill out the petition.
