Software Discounts
As a college student you are eligible to participate in several discount programs. Student discounts are often 80-90% off retail pricing. Software may be available in several versions or subscriptions. Be sure to verify the version you purchase meets your course requirements.

Students can save on the high cost of IT certification exams by taking advantage of educational discounts directly through CompTIA. Discounted exam vouchers are available for eligible students enrolled in degree-seeking programs through the CompTIA Academic Store.
Requirements to purchase: To qualify for the discount, students must verify their status using an active Cabrillo Student account format: Your 7-digit Cabrillo Student ID number followed by @student.cabrillo.edu (e.g., 0123456@student.cabrillo.edu).

Google IT Support Certs
Google IT Support Certificate course is available to Cabrillo students in our Canvas platform. This is the same course offered for a fee on Coursera, so is an added benefit of taking CIS courses at Cabrillo. The course compliments what we teach in CIS 71, 81 and 75. Additionally, it is a good review and prep for the CompTIA A+ exam. There are 5 courses with 6 weeks of modules in each course. Suggested completion time is 5 to 8 months.
