We offer a comprehensive program focusing on the health, well-being, and success of our students through a development of lifetime relationships with physical activity and movement. The Department's Associate of Arts-transfer degree and three certificates can lead to exciting, well-paying careers such as Physical Therapist, Personal Trainer, or P.E. Teacher. A certificate can be obtained with just 18.5 units, while an A.A. can be obtained in as little as two years.

Students range from high school students to senior adults who engage in a variety of classes from Personal Training and CPR to sports skills and fitness. Currently we offer 12 lecture classes and 16 activity classes.

Wellness Education Center

The Wellness Education Center (WEC) is a drop-in state-of-the art fitness lab for Cabrillo students enrolled in specific Kinesiology classes.

Cabrillo Kinesiology faculty staff the lab and are there as your "fitness tutors" or personal trainers who motivate you, answer questions, and make workout recommendations.
