Kinesiology is a flexible major for people interested in fitness and health. In this program you will learn more about how physical activity and movement benefit our mental and emotional well-being.

The Cabrillo College Kinesiology Department offers a comprehensive program that focuses on the health, well-being, and success of our students through a development of lifetime relationships with physical activity and movement. The Department's two AA degrees and two certificates can lead to exciting, well-paying careers such as Physical Therapist, Personal Trainer, or P.E. Teacher. A certificate can be obtained with just 18.5 units, while an AA can be obtained in as little as two years.

Students range from high school students to senior adults who engage in a variety of classes from Personal Training and CPR to sports skills and fitness. Currently we offer 11 lecture classes and 24 activity classes.
