Clinical Orientation Modules are online modules that must be completed every year.
The modules cover subjects such as fire safety, blood borne pathogens, infection control, and many other topics that are required of all employees or students that enter the healthcare workplace.
These modules are completed online using the company HealthStream. There are 4 modules:
- Hazard Communication
- HIPAA
- Rapid Regulatory Compliance, Clinical I
- Rapid Regulatory Compliance, Clinical II
It takes approximately 1 hour per module to complete. The cost for all 4 modules is $14. For instructions on how to sign up for and complete the modules please go to:
Once you have completed the modules you will need to upload your 4 certificates of completion to your Certified Background account.

To complete your COM your computer must have:
