Construction and Energy Management

Getting your education at Cabrillo means you’ll be fully prepared for a successful career in the construction industry!

By working toward your certificate or degree with Construction and Energy Management, you will receive high quality training for skilled faculty in the planning and management of all types and phases of construction projects.

Most of our graduates find immediate employment in entry-level and mid-management positions such as project manager, site supervisor, estimator, scheduler, and owner’s site representative.

We also offer a variety of classes for career advancement positions if you are already employed as a contractor, supervisor, inspector, project manager, estimator, scheduler or other job related to construction.

In as little time as one semester you can earn one of our certificates and as little as two years for an Associates Degree.

The average salary in the Construction trades is $65,000 per year.
